How to stop My Cheeky Toddler ruling the roost!

My Daughter is One Year Old and she is the \Cheekiest most beautiful little monster in the world! She is so stubborn! If i tell her No then she jut smiles at me and carries on, if She don't want to do something she has a temper tantrum but on the other hand she is so good! She will hold my hand when i ask her to and she will avoid anything that i say is dangerous. In General she is really well behaved but when it comes to Dinner times or to doing something that she wants to do and i say no she gets so upset when she is not allowed!! My biggest worry is that this behavior will get worse and i will have one of those nightmare toddlers that throws themselves on the floor screaming every time you say no! Also she is getting really fussy with her food, she turns her nose up at anything that is not a banana, she will eat other things when she is hungry enough but does not enjoy anything like she does bananas!

no matter how many tantrums she throws, no means no and you have to learn not to give in just cos she's cute. I have the same problem with my 1yr old boy. he's naughty, he gets told off and I get the most gorgeous grin and a big sloppy kiss that you cant resist. But don't let them fool you. this is my 3rd now, they've all been the same and I've never given in, you have to be just as stubborn as they are. I never have tantrums and we have a lovely time. As for food, she'll grow out of that but you just have to persevere besides, there always banana flavoured rusks etc... the only other thing I can say is GOOD LUCK!!!!!
